Outdoor lighting systems
The planning of outdoor lighting systems is based on DIN EN 13201-2 and DIN EN
12464-2. All luminaire types are designed with closed cover and higher degree of protection for use
in the outdoor area. Furthermore, all luminaires are planned in LED technology
The following average results from the applicable standards and recommendations:
Illuminance:
•Verladestellen 30 Lux
•External stairs 15 lux
•Pedestrian paths with normal traffic flow 2-15 lux

Wall-mounted luminaires are installed on the facades of the buildings, on main paths and assembly points on the
Terrain pole-mounted luminaires and below building recesses as well as the connecting bridge and at the
Escape steps of the middle school house Ceiling surface-mounted luminaires planned to illuminate the respective areas.
At escape stairs and doors to the outside, combined emergency luminaires are also installed in
Standby switch. The general outdoor lighting (pole-mounted lights) is provided by
Twilight switch and timer switched on or off. The surface-mounted ceiling luminaires on the
Escape stairs and under the recesses in front of the workrooms in the middle school building are provided by local
Motion detector switched. The lighting of the garbage dump is also controlled by a motion detector
turned.
