Despite progress made, the implementation of nature friendly farming practices is too limited. In line with the new EU biodiversity strategy, the involvement of farmers to ensure nature and water protection can and should be enhanced. This contract will contribute to reinforce the partnership with farmers by creating an EU network of landcare cooperation between conservationists, farmers and local communities and authorities.
