The tendered contract concerns the replacement of the existing lighting (orientation and escape route) in the Storebælt Bridge (both on the East Bridge and the West Bridge). In addition, the contract also covers the disposal of the existing luminaire, the supply and installation of the new luminaire, the conversion of existing installations and panels, etc. The task is divided into 10 different areas, which extend across both the East Bridge and the West Bridge. See also point II.2.4.
The existing lighting system in the Storebælt bridges will be replaced with LED luminaires, and work lighting will be established for access roads. In addition to the aforementioned and point II.1.4), the tendered tasks covered by the contract may be listed as follows:
- Final design of the lighting for corridors and passageways.

Existing installations and switchboards must be modified so that each fuse supplies a certain number of luminaires as a result of the starting currents of the LED luminaires. In addition, in some areas, ignition groups must be further divided so that waste light for areas where there is no traffic is reduced.
The execution of the works covered by the contract is divided into the following areas, which refer to areas in the bridge boxes on the Storebælt Bridge:

The contracting entity has carried out a rough count of luminaires for hallway lighting and special lighting areas for the above 10 areas. The rough count shall be as set out in the specifications. It should be noted, however, that when designing the works for the area in question, the supplier must also carry out a census of all luminaires. All existing luminaires must be replaced by luminaires that are technically up-to-date.
After the conclusion of the contract, the works for the above 10 areas are individually requested by the contracting entity.
In addition, the contracting entity refers to Appendix 3 – Requirements specifications with sub-annexes for a detailed explanation of the services offered.
It should be noted that Annex 2 – Timetable, including the durations, is for guidance only. After the conclusion of the contract, including at the start of the area, the winning tenderer must draw up detailed execution schedules for the areas concerned.
For the tenderers who have been invited to submit tenders, it will be possible to inspect selected areas of the bridge. It should be noted that registration must be made via the electronic tendering system, cf. point I.3) above, and cannot be done by other means, including e-mail. See the tender specifications for details of the date of the inspection round, registration for the inspection round, meeting place, meeting time, etc.
