The own company "Hanse-Kinder" of the University and Hanseatic City of Greifswald intends to build the new regenbogen daycare center on the area of parcel 11/95 in corridor 11 in Greifswald. The day care center "Regenbogen" is located in the district Schönwalde I and was built in 1973 in prefabricated construction. Now this building is to be replaced by a functional energy-efficient new building with 153 places, of which 48 crèche and 105 kindergarten places. The daycare centers of the in-house operation "Hanse-Kinder" work according to the needs-oriented approach according to the principle of open work. The spatial structures must in principle be suitable for open work. Life cycle costs are an important basis for decision-making during the planning process. Here, different variants are to be examined and differences in costs between construction and operation as well as between different energy standards are to be presented. The building must be planned and constructed according to the principles of sustainable construction and should achieve at least 65% overall degree of fulfilment according to the NBB or DGNB as a target.
