Combined construction, assembly, liability and planning liability insurance to insure the construction project named under II 1.1 for the client as well as for all companies commissioned with the planning, monitoring and execution of this construction project.

The contract includes contract management in lot 1 and participation in the contract in lot 2.

Contract management with a management rate of 30% for the combined construction, assembly, liability and planning liability insurance for the project mentioned in section II 1.4.

DB Fernverkehr AG is planning the renewal/expansion of the Hanover Pferdeturm plant (ICE T and EC X HHP workshop). The site of the plant is located in the inner city of Hanover about 2 km east of the main station at Clausewitzstraße 10 and belongs to the site of the Hannover Pferdeturm company station. The main planning tasks are the northern extension of the hall (track 239), the hall extension (tracks 241 and 242), the new construction of the warehouse building (MaWi), the new construction or upgrading of the outdoor cleaning facility, the conversion of the existing hall and the expansion of the service building.

The investment amount for this project is estimated at EUR 137.7 million. Of this, approximately EUR 10.79 million has already been settled via an existing contract. The new insurance contract written here will replace the existing contract. A currently planned construction period is expected until 30.09.2024. The insurance contract begins at the end of the tendering process on the date of the award following a currently existing pre-run cover.

(Type H-EU) Construction services/assembly insurance covers unexpected losses, damage or destruction of construction work, insured land or insured property during the insurance period. Damage due to fire, lightning, explosion, as well as damage caused by scorching, scorching and glow are also covered. The object of the insurance is all deliveries and services that are provided on the occasion of the construction of the insured project. These include in particular the entire — including provisional — construction and earthworks, foundations, buildings, assembly services, also dismantling and reassembly, constructions, machines, mechanical, apparatus and electrical equipment, accessories, spare parts as well as the material including all building materials, auxiliary structures, operational and excipients.

In liability insurance, the coverage amount per claim amounts to a lump sum of EUR 20,000,000 for personal, property and financial losses, including environmental liability insurance benefits.

In planning liability insurance, a separate amount of coverage of EUR 10,000,000 per claim is available at a flat-rate rate for property and financial losses. The aforementioned sums are triple maximized.

Extendend maintenance in the construction and assembly insurance section is 42 months. Additional liability is 10 years in liability insurance and 5 years in environmental liability and environmental damage insurance.

The general deductible is at least EUR 10 000. The deductible is not payable for personal injury.
