The current cross-section of the A28 motorway between Ecommoy and Parigné l'Evêque is 2x2 lanes (width: slow lane 3.50 m and expressway 3.00 m). The execution studies and the work to finalize the cross-section in both directions of traffic, aim to widen the expressway to 3.50 m from the outside and treat the singular points on a linear of about 17 km. The affected sanitation works and road equipment are staggered or extended.

The existing pavement structure takes into account this final configuration of the A28 carried out during its construction. It is planned to extend by 0.50m the pavement of the existing BAU and the structure of the shoulder, to secure access to basins and PAU refuges with the creation of bayonet secure parking areas.

The services mainly include:

- Completion of the work to widen the carriageway by 0.50m of the A28 motorway over about 17 km including:

Realization of the sanitation with the reprofiling of the earthen ditches on a linear of about 15 km,

Right-of-way clearance, longitudinal and transverse sawing of pavement, reprofiling of excavated embankments and fattening of embankment embankments, implementation of the shape layer,

Extension of the BAU surface and the roadway structure of the shoulder,

Installation and removal of metal retainers on the edge over a total length of approximately 26 km,

Removal and installation of approximately 70 vertical traffic signs

Implementation of the marking on the ground of the enlarged part over a total linear of approximately 85 km,

Installation of pedestrian paths behind overpass piers
