The Norwegian National Rail Administration, henceforth referred to as the Awarding Authority, shall construct a new railway station at Høvik in Bærum municipality. The works include some ground works for the new turnaround and standby tracks for trains, as well as some alteration of/construction works for new roads and water supply and sewage systems in the area. The works shall be executed from spring 2013 until summer 2015. Høvik station is located at the old tracks between Lysaker and Sandvika. During the main part of the construction stage, the tracks are closed for train traffic, and upgrading of the tracks in other contracts will simultaneously be executed. The railway engineering works are subject to separate contracts.
The following main works are included in this contract:
— Substructure and bottom ballasting for the tracks,
— Conduits for railway technical cables,
— Railway technical foundations,
— Signal system,
— Drain pipes for railway,
— Water supply and sewage system on both sides of the track areas,
— Side platforms (220 metres long and 4, 5 metres wide) along main tracks 1 and 2,
— 2 stairways/lift houses made of steel,
— Access to the north platform situated at the west end, through road bridge (stairs and lift),
— Access to the south platform situated at the west end, through stairs and lift from roof on technical building (access from pavement along the upper roundabout),
— Access to the north platform situated at the east end, through sub passage below the tracks (ramp and stairs),
— Access to the south platform from the car park (same level and stairs),
— Arrivals parking situated at the south side of the station,
— Bicycle parking,
— Penthouse at the south platform,
— Ramp building at the north platform,
— 3 technical buildings (HK 151, HK 152 and HK 153),
— Longitudinal retaining wall for railway filling along the Markalleen,
— Several smaller retaining walls,
— Longitudinal noise deflection walls at both sides of the track,
— New exit ramp from E18 (European road 18) with roundabout and ramp to the bridges over E18 and the railway,
— Noise deflection wall along E18,
— New edge beams on road bridge over the railway,
— Diaphragm and asphalt on road bridge over the railway as well as new bridge joint,
— Concrete restoration works for road bridge over the railway.
