Delivery and installation of plastic casing pipe systems

The client maintains an approximately 300 km long district heating network system in the city of Chemnitz and supplies more than 2,800 buildings/building complexes. Furthermore, several local heating networks are operated throughout the supply area and are constantly being expanded. Every year, more than € 25 million is invested in the heating networks for expansion and replacement construction measures. About 10% of the expenses are attributable to the procurement of plastic casing pipe systems.

From 01.04.2024, the client plans to bind two contractual partners in a framework agreement for the supply of plastic casing pipe systems with a term of 4 years. The framework agreement for plastic casing pipe systems consists of the following components:

 Plastic casing pipelines and plastic casing pipe fittings

 the plastic casing pipe sleeves and the post-insulation materials

 the plastic casing pipe accessories

Leakage monitoring and networking of electronic monitoring systems

■ engineering services

 of system assembly services

The nominal diameter spectrum ranges from DN 25 to DN 400.
