The Probation and After Care Services has the professional systems Kompis-Kia and Kompis-Kif, each with their own databases implemented in Progress OpenEdge 10.2 as well as Kompis-Booking based on the SQL Server database. The Probation and After Care Services often has a need for reports and statistics based on information from all the professional systems. Producing such information demands a lot of resources as it cannot be obtained from a joint database. The Probation and After Care Services' IT service (KITT) has therefore developed a consolidated data model to replace the three separate data models that form the basis of the professional systems' databases and aims to establish the data model on the database platform Microsoft SQL Server in the form of a consolidated master database in SQL format. KITT has purchased the tool Pro2SQL for replicating Progress databases to SQL format and IBM Cognos for consolidation and near real time updating of the master database when there are changes in the professional systems' databases. IBM Cognos will also be used to generate a reporting data warehouse based on the data in the master database. In order to carry out his work KITT has a need for a framework agreement for consultancy services. The services and requirements for this are further described in the tender documents. The framework agreement shall be signed with one service supplier. The aim is to sign the contract in the beginning of May this year.
