The subject of the contract is professional consulting services aimed at creating a tailored ESG strategy and sustainability report, which will enable selected municipal companies not only to meet existing and future sustainability and green economy expectations but also to demonstrate to their clients, citizens of Bratislava, business partners, and financial institutions how they can fulfill their mission in accordance with the latest global requirements and technologies. The successful bidder for the aforementioned municipal companies shall prepare a pilot sustainability report for the year 2024 in accordance with and in full compliance with the text of the CSRD Directive (Directive of the European Parliament and of the Council (EU) 2022/2464 of 14 December 2022 amending Regulation (EU) No. 537/2014, Directive 2004/109/EC, Directive 2006/43/EC, and Directive 2013/34/EU regarding the reporting of sustainability information by companies) and the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS) (Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2023/2772 of 31 July 2023 supplementing Directive of the European Parliament and of the Council 2013/34/EU regarding sustainability reporting standards) and will carry out all necessary actions and activities to successfully achieve the above-mentioned goals, including data collection or establishing a data collection process. The successful bidder will also prepare a sustainability report, including the EU Taxonomy, and specifically the calculation of the carbon footprint of individual companies within the Scope 1, Scope 2, and Scope 3 requirements of the CSRD directive for the first year of disclosure for the year 2025.
