The realization of the new building Theodor-Kocher-Haus / Zwischenbau for radio-oncology was originally planned with the increase / completion of the new building Theodor-Kocher-Haus / full extension to the organ and tumor center. In order to ensure the compulsory replacement of large equipment with the commissioning of the intermediate structure, the planning and implementation was postponed. The underground new building Theodor-Kocher-Haus / Zwischenbau will be realized independently of the completion of the organ and tumor center. In the future, the intermediate building will connect the new organzentrum with the Intensive Care, Emergency and Operations Center (INO) via a connecting corridor.
