The restoration project concerns the Grand Palais in Paris, in the 8 e borough.

This global project under the project management of the RMN-GP and under the project management of the chief architect of historic monuments concerns the restoration of the facades and exterior joinery, the balconies of the nave, pylons and peristyle, as well as the restoration of the Antin Palace.

Cleaning / depollution / structural work.

- restoration of mosaic floors in the exterior peristyle and in the nave;

- restoration of limestone steps in the nave and in the north and south pylons PYN and PYS.

- restoration and restitution of staff caissons on the underside of the balcony floors, revision of the vaults of the ceilings of the R + 1 of the balconies;

- restoration of staff ornaments in the peristyle and the north and south PYN and PYS pylons, work on the ceilings of the cart passages.

- restoration of the elevations, vaults and stucco ceilings of the north and south pylons, enhancement of the monumental Paddock staircase;

- realization of a bronzine on the railing of the monumental staircase;

- restoration of stone and marble stucco elevations, ceilings and vaults;

- restitution of elevation in stucco stone.

- restoration of oak parquet on the balconies of the nave, oak steps of the stairs: supply and installation of new parquet (approximately 3,180 m 2 );

- restoration and replacement of oak stair treads.

Restoration of existing doors, realization of new doors

- restoration of marble mosaic floors and porcelain stoneware, limestone floors;

- installation of tiles and resin in technical areas;

- integration of boxes and technical channels.

- restoration of existing ceilings in staff;

- creation of suspended ceilings;

- acoustic coatings;

- integration of technical terminals produced elsewhere;

- restoration of staff elevations.

Restoration of the elevations and stucco ceilings as well as the decorations.

- parquet restoration work (approximately 2,860 m 2 );

- parquet restoration (around 560 m 2 );

- realization of technical gutters, cladding of wooden stairs.

- creation of interior doors (around 220 doors) including monumental doors, fire-rated, with an aged bronze-effect finish patina;

- creation of a cantonment screen;

- restoration and restoration of wooden cornices and jambs;

- supply and installation of blackout blinds;

- supply and installation of movable walls.

Floor area to be scaffolded in the order of 17,000 m 2 .

Supply and installation of stretched damask fabrics with gallons and wall hanging rail.

- blackout of glass ceilings by blinds;

- fire-resistant treatment of glass floors on the underside of the floors (approximately 455 m 2 );

- creation of railings and metal handrails for the created stairs (six staircases);

- creation of fire-rated glass walls.

Restoration of glass slab floors including prototypes and castings.

- openings in the facade to create emergency exits, cut stone blockages;

- restoration of stairs;

- restoration of the facade after excavation carried out elsewhere;

- restoration of the square of the nave;

- installation of mobile cofferdams and watertight gates;

- restoration of the track walls;

- stair stringers and stone foundations;

- creation of openings in the nave;

- cleaning of elevations in the nave and the north and south pylons PYN and PYS;

- restoration of the interior elevations of the crown including cleaning, replacement of freestone masonry, purging and repointing, leveling, plug, injection of grout.

Chapter D Palais d'Antin: chandelier restoration.

Revision, restoration and restitution of wood joinery on model of the existing one.

- restoration of the structures of the balconies of the nave including treatment by intumescent paint and preparation of the support and lead constraints, finishing paint;

- control of the sanitary condition of metal balcony joists, replacement of joists in research, finishing treatment.
