St Edmundsbury Borough Council is planning to the upgrade of their existing analogue CCTV system (the Works). The Works will include:
— The design, installation and commissioning of a new digital wireless network around all camera locations within the towns of Bury St Edmunds and Haverhill, Suffolk;
— The provision of new command and control systems with a new digital recording platform and integration to legacy systems as required;
— The relocation of and complete fit-out of a new CCTV control room to accommodate the changes in technology, including the provision of a new digital display wall; — The upgrade of existing analogue camera technology including the provision of new redeployable cameras;
— The provision of service and maintenance for a 3-year period following contract completion with optional extensions for a further 2 years (1 yr plus 1 yr) at the client's discretion.
The service and maintenance contract shall commence at project start and shall run throughout the capital works and defects period and shall include all legacy systems from all remotely monitored towns that form part of the Bury St Edmunds scheme including (but not limited to) Newmarket, Mildenhall and Brandon in Suffolk.
