Traffic planning services and technical equipment for the expansion of the old town streets: Oleariusstraße Nord/Kleine Klausstraße/Große Klausstraße/Graseweg/Salzstraße/Flutgasse
The area Große and Kleine Klausstraße/Graseweg/Salzstraße/Flutgasse as well as the Oleariusstraße north of Talamtstraße are located in the old town of Halle (Saale) and are characterized as public access roads. In particular, the Oleariusstraße serves the development of the northwestern sector of the old town with the parking garage Händelhaus. The streets are important spatial connections between Domplatz/Neuer Residenz, Händelhaus and Marktplatz and are therefore important for pedestrian and bicycle traffic as well as for the tourist network in the western part of the old town. They are to be expanded due to their state of construction. The expansion will take place in the Oleariusstraße in the section between Talamtstraße and Kleine Klausstraße. The remaining streets Große Klausstraße, Kleine Klausstraße, Graseweg Flutgasse and Salzstraße will be expanded along their entire length. The corresponding areas are shown in the overview plan. The streets are classified as priority A according to City Council Decision VII/2020/01362. This means that the implementation of road rehabilitation is essential for achieving the rehabilitation objectives. The measure is an investment in the urban redevelopment of the old town, which has been a formally defined redevelopment area since 1995 (Redevelopment Statute No. 1 "Historic Old Town Centre"). The planning area is also within the scope of the statutes of the city of Halle (Saale) for the preservation of the urban character of the area of the "Extended Historic Old Town" due to its urban design (conservation statute no. 59).
The client intends to award planning services for the object planning of traffic facilities according to § 47 HOAI and the technical equipment according to § 55 HOAI as well as special services.
