The Norwegian Public Roads Administration on behalf of Sogn og Fjordane fylkeskommune, shall rehabilitate the Bermåls tunnel (1639 metres). The works include blasting and construction measures and new electrical installation.

The following works shall be carried out (the list is not complete):

— Demolition of the old water and frost protection, PE foam/aluminium plate arch, approx. 5 500 m2.

— Demolition of electro technical installations.

— Installation of new PE foam, approximately 7 500 m2.

— Rock protection with scaling, rock bolts, net and shot-crete (both in the open air and in the tunnel)

— Improvement work on the existing drains and surface water system.

— N New, complete electro installation, including cast on-site cable channel, approximately 1 640 metres.

— Blasting of niches (bays)and rock room, approximately 3 300 m2.

— Setting up of technical building, x 1.
