The canal and road construction work "GG Rheinstraße Nord" is located in Lahr and is located in the immediate vicinity of the Lahr airfield. A fundamental renovation and redesign of Rainer-Haungs-Straße and the eastern part of David-Schieni-Straße is to take place. The traffic facilities will be fully developed over the entire width of the future road cross-section with around 16,000 m2. The newly constructed mixed water and rainwater channels with a dimensioning of DN 300 up to rectangular profile 1400/800 and a total length of approx. 2450 m will be manufactured for the reorganization of the drainage system in the entire planning area "GG Rheinstraße Nord". In the course of this reorganization, a lamellar clarifier and two shafts with flushing contactor will be installed as engineering structures. In addition, the existing DA 225 water pipe and DA225 gas pipeline will be renewed or rerouted in some areas. Furthermore, a KMR-DR DN125/500 district heating pipe will be laid.
