This project management consultation has been entered into pursuant to Article R2172-2 1° of the CCP. The programme of the operation is described in the general guidance note for applicants. The project consists of the construction of a national memorial to the victims of slavery. This memorial will take place in the Trocadero gardens and is part of a process to create a memorial garden, allowing a stroll through the garden space punctuated by several devices to be created on which will be inscribed the names of the 224,000 slaves of the French colonies freed in 1848, divided by territory (Guadeloupe, French Guiana, Martinique, Reunion Island, Saint-Martin) and by municipality. Moving and unifying, it will celebrate the memory of the women and men who were victims of slavery. In addition to the memorial objective, this book is expected to have a pedagogical role in providing didactic materials for everyone.

This contract concerns landscaping project management services for the construction of a slavery memorial in the Trocadero gardens.

This memorial must fit harmoniously into its environment and respect all the easements applicable to its perimeter. He/she will have to master all the technical and environmental issues, as well as accessibility and sustainability over time.

The financial envelope for the work of the operation is €2,300,000 excluding tax as of December 2023.

The mission entrusted to the project manager will be composed of a basic mission (esq, avp, pro, act, visa, det, aor) as defined in Articles R. 2431-4 et seq. of the French Public Procurement Code.

Timetable for the dialogue: the objective is a choice by the successful tenderer by 23 May 2024.

The target for delivery is May 2025.

The duration of the contract includes the 12-month guarantee period of perfect completion.
