The contracting authority OMKK Eiendom AS calls for tenders for the construction of a new cultural building in Kristiansund. The building shall accommodate the Opera, a museum, a cultural school and a library (Norwegian: OMKK).

The project shall be executed as an interaction contract with turnkey contractors.

In collaboration, a draft concept and draft project will be prepared where the objective is to proceed to the interaction phase for the development of a preliminary project with an associated contract price, and which in turn forms the basis for a turnkey contract for the construction phase.

OMKK Eiendom AS shall construct a new cultural building in the centre of Kristiansund.

A contract with a interaction contractor will be entered for the development of the the project in collaboration with the contracting authority and users. A draft project and a preliminary project for OMKK are available which have been adapted in several rounds. These design documents shall form the basis for further work. In the interaction, the design documents will be processed and further developed with a view to optimizing the project, and achieving good and cost-effective solutions. The interaction is assumed to be carried out in two main stages, and then a turnkey contract will be entered into with a fixed price for the execution phase.

A partnering contract has been chosen as the execution model for the project, which means that the project's character and execution can be changed during the project.
