The purpose of this service contract is to transport passengers by cable in the Bulnes funicular (council of Cabrales, Asturias).

The purpose of this service contract is to transport passengers by cable in the Bulnes funicular (Cabrales council), which consists of the following services:

1) operation of the funicular, attending to the tasks of loading, moving and unloading passengers, ordinary goods and dangerous goods; seat and weight control; funicular conduction; management of possible incidents; issuance of notices and signals in case of need and escort service in each of the wagons;

2) technical responsibility of the funicular, as defined in section 8.1 of the Technical Specifications for the construction and operation of cable car and funicular railway installations for passenger transport (approved by Ministerial Order of 14.1.1998, BOE of 31 );

3) attention to public inquiries, requests and claims;

4) attention to communication elements, such as telephone, fax, email, etc.

5) maintenance of information, schedules and official notices to travelers;

6) request, deposit, dispatch and sale of tickets;

7) attention to vending machines, if applicable, and access control;

8) conservation and maintenance of the facilities, including the fire detection system and the emergency signals.

The successful bidder will be responsible for all the replacement costs of the expendable elements (electrical, mechanical and hydraulic) that are exhausted, replacing them with elements equivalent in quantity and quality.

All expenses for maintenance, repair and replacement of all computer and communication equipment will also be borne by the successful bidder, replacing them, if applicable, with elements equivalent in quantity and quality;

9) Completion of:

- cable book,

- exploitation book;

10) management and custody of the spare parts warehouse;

11) management and custody of the complaints book;

12) attention of the funicular operating service in exceptional situations outside the official opening hours;

13) daily accountability of ticket sales;

14) responsibility for opening and closing the facilities and controlling access to stations and trains, including parking at the foot of the funicular;

15) carrying out the cleaning and ordering of the facilities;

16) connection to the alarm center and maintenance of the two installed security systems.

This contract does not require the treatment by the contractor of personal data for its treatment.

It is a service contract that involves benefits to citizens, one of those provided for in article 312 of the LCSP whose legal regime is established in the following rules:

- agreement of the Governing Council dated 24.4.2006 declaring the Bulnes funicular as a public passenger service,

- Resolution of the Ministry of Environment, Spatial Planning and Infrastructure dated 12.2.2007 approving the Regulation for the use and operation of the funicular. (BOPA of March 16).
