The Donau-Ries District Office would like to replace the "HP 3 PAR" server and storage infrastructure (SAN - Storage Area Network), which has been in use since March 2018, with new, more powerful and high-capacity hardware in its data center.
The aim of this tender is therefore on the one hand the procurement of a new "on-premise" server storage system, including seamless productive and redundant commissioning, and on the other hand the awarding of the project documentation service, administrator training and the conclusion of a maintenance contract for a server storage system (SAN - Storage Area Network).
The Donau-Ries District Office would like to replace the "HP 3 PAR" server and storage infrastructure (SAN - Storage Area Network), which has been in use since March 2018, with new, more powerful and high-capacity hardware in its data center.
The relevant performance values of the current SAN are 3.068 TiB total available memory and a total clock frequency of 64 (8 processors á 8 cores) x 3.2 GHz clock frequency of the total available CPU and a net hard disk capacity of the two storage hardware of 50 TiB (net-mirrored-without deduplication and RAID configuration).
In the future, the Donau-Ries District Office expects a total RAM available of 6.0 TiB, a total available clock frequency of the CPU of 96 (12 processors á 8 cores) x 2.9 GHz, storage equipped with SSD or NVMe without exception and a net hard disk capacity for storage hardware of 90 TiB (net-mirrored-without deduplication and RAID configuration). If there are bottlenecks during the planned service life of 5 years, the possibility of capacity expansion, especially in the storage system, must be possible.
