The service levels 3-5 of the project management service profile according to the project management contract HAV-KOM, concretized by the additional contractual provisions (ZVB-PS) to the project management contract, are commissioned, whereby with regard to performance level 3 - execution preparation - the preparatory work for the execution planning as well as the participation in the award of contracts for the already tendered and awarded trades (share about 20%) are omitted, since these services are no longer necessary. Within the framework of performance level 3, only the support for the remaining trades still to be tendered (preparation and participation in the award) is necessary. Performance levels 4 and 5 are ordered in full. A corresponding induction is to be included in the requested lump sum.

The extension building for the grammar school in Höchstadt is currently an important focus of the district administration's work. Due to the reintroduction of the nine-year grammar school in Bavaria, additional space must be created at the grammar school. With the resolution of 10.05.2021, the district council approved the construction of an extension to the Gymnasium Höchstadt in the course of the reintroduction of the nine-year grammar school (G 9).

In accordance with the resolution of the district council of 06.10.2022, the application for funding was submitted in due time and form in accordance with Art. 10 FAG and the applications for school supervisory approval to the government of Middle Franconia. In addition, the early start of construction was requested. The planning was carried out in coordination with all those involved in the planning in a purposeful, tight and cooperative manner, with particular emphasis on sustainability. Furthermore, the planning of the measures has progressed, so that the announcements of the first necessary tenders were published on time on 27.01.2023. The first tender package includes the master builder's work, the elevator system, the construction site equipment and the construction site power plant. According to estimates by architects and specialist planners, the trades of the first package account for around 20% of the total contract by pricing the specifications.

The second tender package must be published on 20.06.2023 by the EU notice. The second package includes the trades sun protection, wood-aluminium mullion façade, ventilated façade and aluminium mullion transom façade. Construction is scheduled to start in mid-May 2023. With the work on site, the construction site should be completed at the beginning of the school year in September 2025.

In addition to the conventional classrooms, the extension building includes the specialist classroom wing for physics lessons. Since special guidelines for safety in the classroom apply here, great attention must be paid here. In addition, the extension is so close to the existing building that the excavation pit is located in the foundation area of the existing building. For this reason, complex shoring work must be carried out in the form of bored pile walls with shotcrete infills.

The total costs of the measure are EUR 21,295,384.73 gross (KG 200-700, as of cost calculation, 16.09.2022).

The design planning including explanatory reports will be made available against submission of a confidentiality agreement.

The client receives funding for this construction project. The contractor is also responsible for the preparation of the where-used list (cf. Section 5.1.6 of ZVB-PS9 and the compilation of the cost shares from the cost determination according to the requirements for the proof of use (cf. Section 5.4.2 of the ZVB-PS).
