The client is the Norwegian Directorate for Civil Protection and the Norwegian Directorate of Elections.

The objective of the agreement is to get access to translator services. The Client has frequent requirements for translations of written texts. This can involve legal texts, regulations, circular letters, instructions, guidelines, technical specifications, reports, brochures, web sites, etc., within the Client's fields of work. The texts that shall be translated are specialised texts or general texts with varying length, from entire publications to short texts in brochures, web sites, advertisements, etc. It is required that the translations of law and regulation texts, contracts, etc. are conducted by a licensed translator. The assignments may have short deadlines.

The framework agreement will cover the following categories:

— Category A: English, French, Spanish, German, Polish, Sami and other languages as well as language vetting and proofreading Norwegian texts.

— Category B: New Norwegian.

Tenders can be submitted for category A or category B, or both categories.
