A framework agreement will be signed with one tenderer in the field of safety consultancy. The chosen tenderer will act as safety manager and assist Bybanen Utbygging with the execution and management of railway safety work in connection with the construction of Bybanen.

Vestland County, c/o Light Rail Development, is in charge of the development of the Light Rail in Bergen. In connection with this, a framework agreement will be signed with one tenderer in the field of safety consultancy, so that Bybanen Utbygging strengthens its expertise and capacity in this field.

The chosen tenderer will act as safety manager and assist Bybanen Utbygging with the execution and management of railway safety work in connection with the construction of Bybanen. The tenderer will be responsible for Bybanen Utbygging's overall safety work for all infrastructure, with a particular focus on handling interfaces between contracts and vehicles. This includes responsibility for the authorisation process with the Norwegian Railway Authority, among other things.
