For the mainland area of the district of Leer, the service includes the collection and transport of the tree and shrub pruning material provided in accordance with the statutes. The collection takes place as street-by-street collection and extends to all properties connected to the public waste disposal. It is divided into three collection campaigns per year: a Christmas tree removal, a spring collection and an autumn removal. In the case of Christmas tree removal, additional collection points of the clubs and other organisations are added;
