Description:
High-resolution genomic sequencing services are needed for various biomedical research projects focused on genetic analysis and molecular characterization in the Balearic Islands.

The contract is part of the development of various biomedical research projects:
- PROSALUT2023-18- Sudden death in the Balearic Islands: Genetic bases and improvement
of the diagnostic performance of molecular autopsy through a multi-omic approach. (MUSIB-omics).
- SYN23/02-Multi-omic approach to the genetic bases of sudden cardiac death in the MUSIB project (Sudden Death in the Balearic Islands).
- PI23/01388- Multi-omic characterization of the pathophysiological mechanisms of TTR amyloidosis (ATTRomics)-IP.
- PROSALUT2023-21 -Application of omic technologies (genome and transcriptome) in a cohort of patients with rare diseases-IP.
- PMPER2400021- Pediatric stroke Rare Disorders: Integrative Diagnosis and Treatment using Multi-Omics and Deep Learning-IP.
- INSE/HEINE- IP.
These projects require high-resolution genetic analyses for variant identification, study of gene expression, and detailed molecular characterization of samples.
The contracting of genomic sequencing services will provide researchers with advanced services that are currently unavailable in any institution in the Balearic Islands.
The bidding includes different projects because applying economies of scale is more efficient at all levels.
