In order to work on the different levels of flood risk management planning in Baden-Württemberg, external support is planned for the third cycle – in the years 2023-2027. In particular, this is intended to support the Ministry of the Environment, Climate and Energy (UM) and subordinate authorities. In Baden-Württemberg, in the preliminary risk assessment 2018, the water backdrop for the flood risk management of the HWRM-RL was expanded to a total of around 12,000 kilometers of water. For this water backdrop, the updating, documentation of the measures as well as the reporting to the EU must be supported.
