Tampere University Community (TUNI) is looking for a technology partner for technical consultation, maintenance and support of Atlassian products, mainly Confluence and Jira. The acquisition includes the establishment of a new Atlassian environment for the use of the higher education community and the implementation of data migration to the new environment from the current on-premise environments of the higher education community. The supplier should be prepared to start the implementation project at the beginning of August 2023. The target schedule is that the new centralized Confluence/Jira environment will be in use as of 1.1.2024.
The new Confluence/Jira centralized environment will be established in the Atlassian Cloud, unless there is an impediment during the deployment project regarding the use of the Atlassian cloud environment.
In the future, access to workspaces and projects will be granted separately to each required user ID through centralized access rights management. The use of the services requires a TUNI ID. The estimated number of users of the new TUNI Atlassian environment is approx. 2500. In some use cases, there may be a need for wider visibility (public access) within the higher education community.
The object of the procurement is described in more detail in the tender documents and its appendices.
