Civil Structure Engineering Services for Additional Accommodation at Scoil Naomh Iosef, Rathkeale Road, Blackabbey, Adare, Co. Limerick

Description of the Project

Scoil Naomh Iosef is a Primary School under the patronage of the Bishop Brendan Leahy in the dioceses of Limerick .

In summary, the project will comprise:

 2 x Classroom SEN base incl WC

 Giving a floor area incl circulation and internal walls of: 510m2

 Secure and soft play area 100 m2

 Sensory garden 100m2

 6 parking spaces

Please Note

The appointed Design Team will be required to provide the SEN Base in the existing vacant Fever Hospital building on site.

Full refurbishment and reconfiguration works to the existing vacant building shall include;

• Maintenance Works to the exterior of the building (Roof/ valley & Chimney repairs as necessary, Window Repairs/ Replacement as necessary, Existing Stone Capping & Pointing repairs as necessary)

• Upgrading of Fire Safety and provision of Fire Breaks where deemed necessary

• Upgrading of M&E systems

• Upgrading of Internal finishes

• And any other works that the Appointed Design Team deem necessary to ensure the safe occupation of the existing building.

The appointed Design Team are to provide a schedule of the proposed works including costings for same as part of the Stage 1 submission.
