The quay wall of the container terminal Tollerort (CTT), in the Port of Hamburg, is to be extended. Due to the extension of the 5th mooring, about 205 m and a subsequent wing wall of about 60 m in length, ships with a length of up to 430 m are to be able to dock in the future. At the same time, 400 m long ships are to be handled at the 4th berth. The existing quay wall with its mooring facilities is to be trained to the necessary extent.
The expansion / deepening of the existing couchette at the 5th berth is not the subject of the planning services requested here.
The existing quay wall construction of berth 5 (LP5) consists of the typical Hamburg quay wall section, in the form of a covered embankment. The terrain jump from the OK quay wall (NHN approx. +5.6 m) to the planned harbor floor (NHN -17.4 m) is approx. 23.0 m. The quay wall is equipped with an approximately 18 m wide crane track for gantry cranes.
