The client intends to build a support heating plant (total capacity 45 MW). The client supplies citizens, companies and municipal facilities in Unterföhring with district heating from four deep geothermal boreholes. The support heating system based on natural gas is to serve as a redundancy and for peak load. Here the VE23 underground oil tanks is awarded.
Delivery and installation of oil tanks including connecting lines to the adjacent heating plant building, mainly with the following services:
• Delivery of 2 double-walled heating oil storage tanks for underground storage in accordance with DIN 6608/2 with a volume of 100,000 l each including height-adjustable dome shafts
• Installation of tanks in on-site pit
• Installation monitoring during backfilling
• Insulation measurement of the entire system
• Leak warning system for vacuum monitoring of the tanks
• Connection of suction and return lines with double-walled, vacuum-monitored pipelines to the nozzles of the tanks, closing them off in the transfer shaft in the heating plant
• Delivery and installation of monitoring devices for double-walled pipelines
• Routing of double-walled pipes and vent lines in welded HDPE pipes
