The contracting authority needs to enter into a framework agreement for plumbing services.

There will however also be the delivery of some materials, as in many cases it will be appropriate that the tenderer provides the materials required for the execution of the assignment in question. Even if the procurement includes some materials, it is emphasised that this contract does not give exclusivity for the delivery of such materials and that the contracting authority is not obligated to purchase materials from the service provider. Birkenes municipality is thus free to purchase materials from our other framework agreements and still use the service provider for work that shall be carried out without any mark-up to the agreed prices for work.
