The city of Boppard is planning to renovate its wall on the banks of the Rhine over a length of approx. 600m (head beam approx. 900m). The subject of the invitation to tender are object planning services for the civil engineering structure as Lot 1 LP 1-9 within the meaning of § 43 HOAI and the services of structural engineering for Lot 2, LP 1-6 i.S.v. § 51 HOAI. The seawall has already been partially restored and partially renovated in recent years. These areas are marked in the attached planning. With the exception of a part of the wall in the area of the electoral castle, in which it has been completely rebuilt, a head beam with natural stone slabs and a railing is to be planned for the entire wall.

The subject of both lots is the finding of a planning solution for the renovation or new construction of the wall under economic and licensing aspects:

It is to be planned in 2023/24 and structurally implemented in the years 2024-2027.

The city of Boppard estimates the construction costs of the measure in KG 300 at EUR 2,230,000 and in KG 400 at EUR 170,000.

The subject of the tender are object planning services for the civil engineering structure of the wall as lot 1 LP 1- 9 i.S.v. § 43 HOAI. For this purpose, an inventory must first be carried out. In large parts of the wall, the town of Boppard has an inventory, which, however, is 4-5 years old. It shall be updated. The object of the service is coordination services, namely with the contractor of parallel landscape planning works, with regard to their approval and structural implementation, a new pressure pipeline to be laid, the operators of jetties and the ferry operator. The subject of the planning contract in Lot 1 is also the surveying services of the Rhine bank area. Up to the existing wall there is a survey.

Subject of lot 2 is the structural design services required for the realization of the measure.
