The Council is to continue to develop and test a community-based system of school age childcare in Alloa South and East Clackmannanshire and expand this system to include additional communities, over the relevant financial years. The Council will continue to provide targeted school age childcare for children who are recognised as being within one of the six priority groups set out in the Best Start, Bright Futures: Tackling Child Poverty Delivery Plan 2022-26 or within the locally recognised priority family of care experienced. Over the relevant financial years, the Council will increase the capacity of the Project to support the number of children receiving childcare in the South and East Alloa area, including the frequency and duration of available provision; the project will expand beyond this area into other targeted Clackmannanshire areas.
