The National Library of Norway needs showcases that provide the best possible climatic protection for the displayed material.

During the agreement period the cases shall be delivered completed and mounted at the National Library of Norway.

The contracting authority needs showcases that shall be used in the premises of the National Library of Norway. The cases shall be produced by the winning tenderer, and delivered as a turnkey product to the National Library of Norway’s premises in Oslo. Further details of the requirements for the cases is given in Appendix A - requirement specifications.

The final form and design of the cases is not given in the tender documents. The background for this is that the design and form shall be completed by a hired resource, and the designs will depend on assessment of the concerned party’s artistic perception of the rooms in which the cases shall be placed and also the content of the cases.
