The subject of the contract is the conclusion of a framework agreement for the performance of surface repairs and reconstruction of district roads.
The procedure in question was developed in order to carry out repair works, overlay road surfaces and partly sidewalks and roadsides of the district of Krakow. The works will mainly consist in milling old damaged road layers from bituminous surface, and in their place building (restoration) of new driving layers. Milling of the surface is designed to give an appropriate profile on the renovated section of the road, and on the sections on which the existing sidewalks are located, lowering the level so that the planned surface package is possible to build. In the event of loss of load capacity in the foundations under the roadway, the contracting authority provides for the implementation of point replacement on individual sections depending on the needs and situation in the field. This applies to both the main and auxiliary foundations. In addition, if necessary, a decision may be made to install additional reinforcing layers made of mesh, pointwise or across the entire width of the roadway. When restoring the running layers, in the case of inspection wells or rain drains on the roadway, the ordering party provides for their adjustment or repair. The works may involve the replacement of existing infrastructure, i.e. sectional renovation or reconstruction of pavements made of concrete blocks or concrete slabs, height adjustments of existing exits, etc. Pavement repairs may involve replacing or adjusting the existing pavement surface, as well as in the event of the need to replace curbs and edging. The layers of foundation under the pavement, depending on the situation in the field, can be grained or replaced in whole or in part. In addition, the contracting authority provides for works related to shearing and supplementing the existing roadsides with stone material, along with compaction, giving the required slopes and sectional stabilization with emulsions and grit. Improved shoulders will be designated for implementation depending on the terrain situation, e.g. on significant longitudinal slopes or internal curves of the roadway. The order will also include the renovation of drainage devices, i.e. cleaning and desilting existing earth ditches, as well as repair, construction and renovation of fortifications, e.g. with concrete slabs, sewage channels or repairs of culverts in road drainage lines. In addition, the contracting authority provides for the performance of tasks related to the reconstruction and implementation of vertical and horizontal markings on designated sections being the subject of renovation / reconstruction, as well as the construction of road safety devices such as road barriers, etc. ZDPK manages 692.10 km of roads of the district roads category. Classes: G-major, Z-collective, L-local, including: • with asphalt surface 683.50 km • with crushed stone surface 7.169 km • with ground surface 1.393 km The "expected quantities" given in the table of accounting elements are indicative quantities, the Ordering Party reserves the right to increase or decrease the given quantities, subject to the terms of the contract. The detailed scope of works and the manner of their execution on each task will be specified "in the table of accounting elements" and in the Technical Specifications for the execution and acceptance of works (ST) for individual tasks for which the executive contract will be concluded. 4. The exact location and scope of works and the date of their completion will be specified in the protocol of handing over the construction site for each task on the basis of the executive agreement.-additionally, the contracting authority attaches a map of the district road network with an indication of the routes of poviat roads along with their numbering.
