The measure includes services for special foundation engineering including earthworks and dredging work, solid construction, services for technical processing using BIM including preparation of as-built documents as well as services for functional tests and trial operation.

The tendered services for Lot 1 include the following main services:

- Technical processing using the BIM method

- Construction site equipment, preparatory work, production of the client's construction office

- Construction and dismantling of access roads to the central island during construction in the surface and underwater

- Demolition, dismantling and disposal of parts of the existing lock as well as (partial) filling of the existing west lock

- Replacement of the west lock in seamless construction under the protection of an excavation pit with braced bored pile walls or sheet pile walls and a back-anchored underwater concrete base (including all earthworks)

- Construction of the connecting sewer in seamless construction under the protection of a construction pit with stiffened sheet piling walls and a back-anchored underwater concrete base

- Adaptation of the entrance areas in the underwater as well as in the upper water in partial areas

- Construction of two technical buildings

- Adaptation of terrain and creation of traffic areas

- Construction of a new access road including a paved path

- Technical processing, including the preparation of all documents required for the execution and commissioning of the lock, partly using the BIM method

- Coordination of the interfaces between the individual lots

- Preparation of inventory documents
