The purpose of this contract is to establish a Backup Solution as a Service (BaaS) for ensuring the data of the Union for the Mediterranean (UfM).

The Contractor is expected to:

• Review and analysis of the needs and proposed ways to establish a secure back up service;

• Determine and propose a list of activities to establish the backup solution;

• Prepare a financial offer and a road map to establish the Backup as a Service (BaaS).

• The financial offer must be based on the current system but also must include the possibility to upgrade the storage capacity for the back-up, the UfM needs to know the price of an extra TB.

The Contractor shall establish a secured backup system and provide all necessary facilities in the aim of having the Backup Solution, it includes:

• Provision of the external datacentre.

• Provision of the licenses and the software(s).

• A maintenance and a support if necessary.

• A documentation and a training on how to use the system for the IT personnel.

• Launch of the solution.

• Provide a detailed Service Level Agreement (SLA) on all aspects of the proposed solution.
