Knappschaftskrankenhaus Bottrop GmbH intends to award the supply and installation of patient entertainment. For this purpose, Knappschaftskrankenhaus Bottrop GmbH has announced the conclusion of a lease contract for a period of 5 years. It is planned to equip bedside multimedia terminals, a central billing system with management of uses. The multimedia terminals should also have app functionality. The billing system should also offer the possibility of electronic payment options (Paypal, smart pay, credit card, etc.).
The subject of the local procurement procedure is to equip a total of approx. 372 patient beds with appropriate hardware and software in the technical version mentioned below. For this purpose, the client shall provide for the purchase of appropriate stand-alone TV sets in the form of tablets. In addition to the multimedia entertainment (patient TV, Internet, radio, etc.) of the patient during the hospital stay, the following performance calls should be possible via the respective tablet:

The feasibility of the modules listed must be technically possible in the system offered, but are not the subject of the local tender.
Ease of use is given the highest priority, so the devices must be easy and understandable to operate even for elderly patients. After installation and installation of the patient entertainment system, the contractor shall also take over the service of the systems for a period of 60 months. A meaningful operating concept must be provided for the patient entertainment to be offered. Delivery must be made no later than the end of the third quarter of 2021.
