Stara, the City of Helsinki Construction Services Business Administration, will request your offer of mountain salt in accordance with this call for tender and the accompanying documents.

The target of the procurement is the procurement of rock salt (NaCl) used in anti-icing for Stara for the winter season 2023-2024.

Acquisition is a procurement of goods.

The acquisition comes with the use of Stara's urban technology maintenance.

The price of €/tonne, excluding VAT 0%), indicated in the tender, includes all costs related to the performance of the procurement, including materials and the machinery, equipment and equipment needed for delivery, as well as transport and unloading into silos in accordance with the invitation to tender.

Rock salt is ordered during the contract period according to weather conditions in several delivery batches. The customer does not have an obligation to purchase a quantity. Any procurement volumes presented in other documents are estimates only and are not binding on the subscriber.

Silo-specific filling volumes and a more specific time are agreed with the contact persons responsible for the orders.

The requirements set for the product are described in more detail in the description of the object of procurement (Appendix 1).

The draft agreement is annexed (Annex 2).

The acquisition is subject to the application of rock salt (NaCl), which is needed for the maintenance of Stara's urban technology, delivered to the subscriber's silos.

N.B! The tenderer shall provide only one salt quality, which shall comply with the requirements of the invitation to tender. No other quality options are accepted.

Salt is purchased by separate orders during the contract period. The need is determined by weather conditions.

The tenderer must submit a product analysis of rock salt in Finnish as an annex to his tender. The product analysis must not be older than three months from the date of submission of the offer.

The Subscriber will select one (1) supplier with whom it will contract.

The quantity of purchase presented in the invitation to tender is an estimate and the contract does not constitute a quantity obligation for the subscriber. The supplier selected does not have exclusive rights to the deliveries subject to the acquisition.
