The Nuclear Safeguards and Forensics Unit (G.II.6) of the JRC Karlsruhe site plans to upgrade 3 existing thermal ionisation mass spectrometers MAT26x in order to continue their operation during the lifetime of the on-site laboratories. Different upgrades for 3 instruments are to be supplied. Due to the different age of the 3 existing mass spectrometers, the upgrades are individually different.

a) AS Karlsruhe: full exchange of electronics, exchange of ion source head, software upgrade;

b) LSS La Hague: exchange of ion source head incl. electronics, software upgrade;

c) OSL Sellafield: software upgrade.

The supply contract shall include complementary services like delivery of relevant documentation, the equipment integration and calibration, warranty and related services.
