As part of its quantum computing initiative, the German Aerospace Center (DLR) is procuring quantum computers based on the following five qubit technologies: ion traps, neutral atoms, photons, NV centers, and solid-state spins. To technologically expand the existing portfolio and to allow for direct comparison with the already contracted systems, computing time on external superconducting quantum computers is to be procured. In this context, the subject of the present tender is the conclusion of a framework agreement for the provision of corresponding computing times of up to 610 hours with a duration until June 30, 2027. Further information can be found in the performance description attached to the award documents.
