Utrecht University intends to make its real estate portfolio more sustainable. Each building of Utrecht University must meet EU standards, with the norm of 70kwh/m2 being applied. The execution period is planned to take place from 2026 to 2030 and will be realized as much as possible in co-creation with a contractor to be engaged.

Due to the financial scope, a European tender will be conducted, and a contract will be concluded based on that.

The planned publication date is early September 2025.
