The purpose of this public procurement notice is to select contractors to deliver and install 2 units of air purification devices through plant biofiltration (including mobile construction, IoT functionalities, and a green air filtration system) intended for use in an urban environment. The devices will have the following main technical requirements:
1. To reduce the concentration of fine particulate matter (PM10 and PM2.5) in the air; to improve the microclimate by humidifying and cooling the air; to use natural biomass (e.g., mosses, algae, or other highly efficient plant systems) as the main filter; to operate in automated mode with minimal human intervention; to maintain resilience throughout the year (including winter conditions);
2. Dimensions: Height: minimum 3.0 meters; Maximum footprint area: up to 10 m²; To include a stable and durable structure suitable for outdoor placement, without the need for a foundation; The structure to allow optional integration of seating for public use;
3. Environmental efficiency: purification efficiency: at least 80% reduction of particulate matter in an air volume of at least 3000 m³/h; capability to cool the surrounding air by at least 3°C near the device; Potential annual capacity for CO₂ reduction: no less than 300 kg CO₂/year;
4. Energy efficiency and autonomy: electricity consumption in normal mode: no more than 100 W with power supply via solar panel or conventional electrical source (230V); built-in water tank with capacity of at least 500 liters, or the possibility to connect to the water supply network; automated system for irrigation and maintenance of vegetation;
5. Digital functionalities (IoT): integrated air quality monitoring system measuring PM10, PM2.5, temperature, humidity, and atmospheric pressure; connectivity via mobile network (4G/LTE) for data transmission to a central server or cloud platform; Data should be publicly visualizable (e.g., via an online dashboard or external screen); Remote access for control and diagnostics should be supported;
6. Integrated public functions (optional): Wireless internet access for public use (Wi-Fi hotspot) capability.
7. Maintenance requirements: the device should be designed for minimal manual maintenance – no more frequently than once a month; staff training and provision of an operation manual should be included and a warranty of at least 24 months should be provided.
The subject of the procurement also includes warranty service for the delivered devices during the warranty period. Detailed description of the requirements for participants is outlined in the Technical Specifications.
