Tuomi Logistiikka Oy is conducting a procurement process on behalf of Tampereen Vesi Oy for remote readable NB-IoT water meters. The meters to be procured are intended for use in the data transmission network defined by Tampereen Vesi Oy.
The procurement concerns approximately 13,500 remote readable water meters, which will be used for billing or network management. The scope of the procurement pertains to remote readable water meters.
Most of the remote readable water meters included in the procurement are sizes DN20-DN40. A smaller portion of the meters is size DN50-DN150.
The measurement areas for remote reading are located in urban areas or sparsely populated areas within the operational area of Tampereen Vesi.
The aim of the procurement is for Tampereen Vesi to obtain a comprehensive set of water meters equipped with NB-IoT technology. The technological characteristics of the water meters must meet the IT requirements and regulations as specified in the request for proposals.
Suppliers must have the capability to supply meters within the required delivery times and provide technical support in Finnish. The products, services, and data transmission technologies offered must comply with the IT requirements and regulations as specified in the request for proposals.
The procurement is divided into the following areas:

Area 4: Remote Readable Water Meter DN 50
Area 5: Remote Readable Water Meter DN 80
Area 6: Remote Readable Water Meter DN 100
Area 7: Remote Readable Water Meter DN 150
Offers can concern all areas or only one area. This is a framework agreement, where a maximum of three contract suppliers meeting the request for proposals' conditions will be selected for each area.
The contract period begins as soon as possible and is valid until 31.12.2027.
