Provision of event organization services for community programs aimed at supporting disadvantaged groups in Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén County, including various themed events to promote social inclusion and cultural traditions.

"Provision of event organization tasks for the project identified by the code TOP_PLUSZ-3.1.3-23-BO2-2023-00001 titled 'Human Development Programs in Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén County' II." The procurement of event organization services consists of 18 separate parts as detailed in the Procurement Documentation. As part of the project identified by code TOP_PLUSZ-3.1.3-23-BO2-2023-00001, consortium members will provide community programs for disadvantaged groups to strengthen social inclusion, social cohesion, and identity. The aim of the programs is to respond to the challenges arising from service shortages at points of individual or community connection, contributing to the reduction of inequalities arising from disadvantaged life situations.

Traditional Family Days.
Number of occasions: a total of 10 occasions Planned number of participants: 200 people per occasion Program description: The aim of the events is to build the community of the county and to realize the possibility of community experiences, strengthening social inclusion, social cohesion, and cooperation concerning disadvantaged groups. To this end, various activities will be implemented during the Traditional Family Days. We will provide an opportunity for local craftsmen working in the region who specialize in regional traditions to showcase their products (e.g., honey, jam, pickles, soap-making, leatherworking, shoemaking, wood carving). The production of handicrafts is part of the traditions in Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén County; therefore, it is essential to emphasize introducing the work of local producers and craftsmen and showcasing their products. Showcasing crafts and promoting handcrafted products can have numerous benefits, including strengthening belonging, local identity, creating a positive image of the local inhabitants, and sparking the interest of the youth to learn the respective craft during the craftsmanship demonstrations. The event will take place outdoors. World Animal Day is an international event held every year on October 4th, aiming to raise awareness about animal protection, their rights, and the importance of respectful coexistence with them. Various events, programs, and campaigns are organized worldwide on this day to share the message of animal protection. The goal of the World Day is to draw attention to the importance of living with animals and how they help and make us happier. The event will take place outdoors and indoors. Events organized on the occasion of Earth Day are particularly suitable for achieving these goals, as they will draw attention to the preservation of the Earth's natural environment. The goal of the day is to confront the global environmental problems affecting the world's population, raising awareness among young people and those belonging to disadvantaged target groups through educational presentations and programs, so they understand that solutions should not always be expected from others, but we should also contribute to a better and more livable future. The event will take place outdoors and indoors. This event is organized to promote the region's gastronomic traditions and also provides economic opportunities for local food industry and gastronomic small businesses. Presentation of Easter traditions.

Easter is one of the most important and largest celebrations in the Christian church, and it also marks the arrival of spring. It is both a church and family celebration, associated with many customs and traditions worldwide. Introducing local customs, noteworthy days, and special traditions to children is a significant task. This event is organized to promote Easter traditions and customs within the community building context. To this end, we will organize a family day to ensure that people of all ages find interesting, entertaining, and knowledge-enhancing programs. We plan to have a traditional market-themed event, enriched with pleasant music and performances. The event will take place outdoors and indoors. Implementation of a knowledge transfer program series.
Number of occasions: a total of 12 occasions during the project (3 thematic days annually, and 1 quiz final annually) Planned number of participants: at least 50 people per occasion Program description: We plan to implement a multi-stage quiz and thematic days focused on nature conservation in connection with environmental protection day celebrations for the elementary school age group living in the county. These days are World Water Day, Earth Day, and International Day of Forests. The planned programs within the Edeleny program series will take place at the L’Huillier-Coburg Castle in Edeleny, which will be provided by the Contracting Authority. County value hikes.
Number of occasions: a total of 64 occasions Planned number of participants: 45 people per occasion Program description: The Municipality of Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén plans to conduct tours for the older generation and retirees living in the county, focusing on various themes. We plan to provide opportunities for groups of 45 people to participate in 64 occasions, which will be advertised by district. Thus, every year we will show the wonders of our county to the elderly living in the 16 districts of the county. We plan for the program to start from a designated location in the district centers, and the bus will return participants to that location at the end of the day. One meal at the excursion site, which the Contractor is responsible for providing, will be included in the program. Concert for Ladies at the Edelény Castle.

Planned number of occasions: 3 occasions Planned attendance: min. 80 people/occasion Program description: The role of women is complex in today's world; they are important members of society. They are active in the family, at work, and in communities, where they hold various positions and undertake tasks relating to social issues and global challenges. A woman embodies the mother, the female worker, and the cohesive force of the community. They are the main driving forces in every area of life; although they are represented everywhere from physical labor to intellectual work, from subordinate to leadership positions, they often face discrimination in many cases. We aim to change this during the project's implementation. Sensitive and receptive women are open to various aspects of life, whether it concerns environmental protection, social issues, preserving traditions, strengthening identity, building communities, or transferring cultural values. The event will take place indoors. • The primary task of the bidder is to map, invite, and secure artists and performers associated with the county who can provide a high-quality, minimum 90-minute program for the concert. Additionally, they are responsible for the comprehensive implementation of the activity. • The bidder is responsible for organizing a 90-minute Music Performance (live or semi-playback) / Concert during the events. The requirement regarding musical performers/bands: ensuring a music performance/concert in the price category of a total of HUF 300,000 - HUF 400,000. The bidder will propose potential performers in the mentioned price range within 20 working days following the contract's entry into force (minimum 3 proposals), which the Client will decide upon within 3 calendar days. The Client can refuse a proposal once. In the case of a rejected proposal, the Bidder must propose a new one within 3 calendar days (minimum 3 proposals), about which the Client will make a decision within 3 calendar days. The bidder can only order the performer after the decision-making and approval process. The fees for the performers and the related additional costs (e.g., travel costs, performer catering) are the responsibility of the Bidder. • The bidder's task is to moderate and carry out casual community-building discussions after the performance. • The bidder is tasked with inviting the target group to the event. The target group is women living in the county area. The planned attendance for the event is a minimum of 80 people. • The bidder is responsible for the full organization of the event at the specified venue and planned times/occasion (preparation, execution, administrative tasks, registration) • The bidder is responsible for providing the basic infrastructure necessary for sound amplification. • The bidder is responsible for sound amplification, sound technology, and providing sound technicians/technical staff in a manner necessary for the realization of the concert during the events. • The bidder is responsible for providing 1 host in order to ensure the atmosphere of the event and the moderation of casual discussions. • The bidder is responsible for providing 2 administrative staff to prepare attendance sheets, information materials, and photo documentation. • The bidder is required to prepare a professional report that must be submitted to the Client no later than 5 working days after each occasion. • The bidder is responsible for producing photo documentation for each occasion (at least 20 photos/occasion) with a technical requirement of minimum 2448*3264 ~ 8.0 MP, 300 dpi resolution, with a total of at least 20 photos, of which at least 5 should show the number of participants in the event, without identifying their identities, and 3 others showing the participants and the communication tools (roll-up or board) provided by the Client together. • The bidder is responsible for ensuring security at the event location. • The bidder is responsible for notifying the appropriate authorities in case of event reporting obligations. • The bidder is responsible for paying the Artisjus music copyright fees if applicable. • The bidder is responsible for paying the Mahasz copyright fees for occasional background music service obligations, if applicable. • The bidder is responsible for placing and disposing of selective waste bins on-site during the event (4 waste collection points). • The bidder must obtain all necessary permits for the smooth and safe implementation of the event and fully comply with the requirements stated therein. • After the event, the bidder is obliged to restore the venue to its original condition. • The event will take place indoors. • The Client will provide the venue. The duties of the technician acting as a professional include: - proper installation and operation of sound technology implemented during the events - conducting live sound amplification, as well as technical troubleshooting related to these. Number of occasions: a total of 16 occasions Planned number of participants: 30 people/occasion Program description: A series of events for children with disabilities and their parents organized 4 times a year until 2026, every May, July, September, and November. The event series consists of interactive presentations and roundtable discussions aimed at contributing to the development of children with disabilities. Families of children with disabilities face numerous challenges, often starting from the time of the child's birth and many times from the diagnosis. During the events' programs, parents can participate in talks, discussions, and events where they receive information about available services and development opportunities for their child or family member. Participation in the programs creates opportunities for them to meet and exchange experiences with peers in similar situations, thereby enriching their social interactions. It is essential for individuals with disabilities or parents raising a child with disabilities to be able to get information about anything that could help them navigate their challenging lives and support their mental health. The aim of the event series is to share practical information, knowledge, and experiences with participants that can assist persons with disabilities in their personal development, social integration, strengthen the family as a community, support self-care, and contribute to a more secure vision of the future for families in the county. Invited external participants and other guests related to the implementation will create opportunities for social sensitivity at our events. Our plan is that each event of the series for children with disabilities and their parents will reach a minimum of 30 participants. It is important to extend the series to those who, due to their disabilities, may not or could only very rarely attend similar programs. Family Day for persons with disabilities.
Number of occasions: a total of 4 occasions Planned number of participants: 80 people/occasion Program description: Organizing family days for families with disabled family members once or twice a year in August in various localities of the county. The organization of family days can help recharge individuals with disabilities and relax, as well as provide opportunities for social sensitivity, with inclusive programs helping to facilitate their knowledge and the best possible integration into their local community. The playful, sports, craft, and cultural programs of the family days are beneficial for both adult and child participants. Through joint activities, participants learn, develop their social and communication skills, and bring community residents closer together. With the implementation of the project, our goal is to make the municipalities increasingly welcoming towards their fellow citizens, whether they have disabilities or are raising a child with disabilities. It is important to provide locally available complex inclusive programs for persons with disabilities, some elements of which can lead to immediate positive changes in their quality of life. Special attention will be paid to helping people detach from their everyday concerns and problems, giving them more opportunities to experience joyful moments. The organization of family days is carried out with special professionals (e.g., special education teachers) and other civil organizations. It is important to reach those who, due to their social circumstances or other disabilities, would not or could only very rarely participate in such events as well. The event will be held outdoors. Active Aging Program – 60+ Program.
Number of occasions: a total of 48 occasions (48 different locations) Planned number of participants: 50 people/occasion Program description: Within the framework of the program series, informative lectures will be organized based on the needs of those over 60 living in the county, in an interactive manner. Main topics: responses to the challenges of old age; preserving activity, health protection, loneliness, available help, services; interactions between generations; gastronomy. At the events, qualified speakers will present the topics, while also allowing for interactive discussions. When developing each topic, speakers keep in mind the intellectual, mental, and physical fitness of the target group. Aging is treated as a value and a natural state. Besides lectures, movement activities will also be implemented for the elderly, with the collaboration of a qualified physiotherapist. The secondary aim of the program is to highlight that old age also has its beauty and characteristics, and that different generations need each other’s knowledge, sharing experiences, thus strengthening the cohesion in our county. Pálinka Rally for Women.
Number of occasions: a total of 2 occasions Planned number of participants: 120 people (50-60 cars with 2-3 passengers)/occasion Program description: The Pálinka Rally for Women will be organized twice during the project period. Invited participants will compete with their own cars. During the event, competitors will learn about pálinka, a Hungarian specialty, its production, and the county's natural, gastronomic, architectural, and historical specialities and traditions. According to preliminary plans, pairs starting in front of the Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén County Government building will follow a predetermined route in the county, which touches on 10 locations, covering a total of approximately 200 km. During the competition, they will visit significant locations noted for their culture, history, and pálinka from the county. At designated stations planned along the route, – we intend to have 10 stations – competitors will perform various skill and cultural tasks, earning points during the process. These tasks relate to pálinka as a unique value, driving, local knowledge, gastronomy, as well as other regional and local values. The rally must proceed on the public road, without closures, observing traffic regulations, so it is the responsibility of the event organizer to provide necessary equipment and personnel at the start/finish and intermediate stops. Competitors will arrive at stop locations staggered in time, spending a maximum of 3-5 minutes at one competition site. Programs should be designed so that up to 5 competitors can solve tasks simultaneously at the competition sites. The event will take place outdoors. Great Castle Occupation.
Number of occasions: a total of 48 occasions Planned number of participants: 100 people (about 4 elementary school classes)/occasion Program description: The program aims to present significant historically pivotal and emblematic county facilities, castles, and contemporary customs to disadvantaged elementary school students studying in the county. A full-day field trip for students from Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén county's elementary schools to a castle or chateau in the county is planned, for example, to Boldogkő Castle, where children can learn about the castle's history, period professions, knightly armor, and gastronomy. During the program, children travel from their school to the destination by rented bus. Lunch is also provided for participants. The event takes place outdoors or indoors.
