Description:
The project involves purchasing and commissioning 20 new electric buses along with 16 slow and 4 fast charging stations, including warranty maintenance and training for designated personnel.

The scope of the public procurement includes the purchase, delivery, and commissioning of 20 (twenty) new electric single buses and specialized additional equipment for them, including 16 (sixteen) slow charging stations and 4 (four) fast charging stations, accompanying warranty maintenance services within the warranty period offered by the participant, and training of persons designated by the Contracting Authority, according to the requirements described in this technical specification.
The scope of deliveries also includes the provision of the following specialized additional equipment:
• Equipment, software, and other special tools necessary for the servicing, diagnostics, and repair of the traction electric motor;
• Equipment, software, and other special tools necessary for servicing and repairing the high-voltage system and traction battery (within the limits regulated by the manufacturer);
• Equipment for diagnostics of pneumatic systems;
• Equipment for diagnostics and repair of low-voltage electrical systems.
The public procurement scope includes the contractor's obligation to conduct preliminary training for persons designated by the Contracting Authority on the operation of the buses and charging stations:
- driver instructors - 4 (four) persons;
- drivers – 4 (four) persons;
- service workers – 4 (four) persons;
- technicians for maintenance, operation, and repair of charging stations – 4 (four) persons.
Warranty maintenance during the warranty period refers to the removal of faults and defects of the delivered buses and charging stations at the Contractor's expense during the warranty period.
The supply and replacement of consumables related to routine servicing of the buses during the warranty period are not included in the scope of this procurement.
The newly acquired assets will be 100% owned by "Ekobus Plovdiv" Ltd.
Vehicle type: newly produced, serially manufactured (unlimited series), low-floor, single/solo (12 m ± 1), city buses with two axles, category M3, class I, complying with the requirements regarding buses set out in Regulation (EU) 2019/2144 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 November 2019. Participants must offer buses that hold an EU type-approval certificate issued by a competent approval authority in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2018/858 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 30 May 2018 or Ordinance No. 60 of 24.04.2009 on approval of new motor vehicle types and their trailers.
Charging stations for the buses:
6 16 slow charging stations via cable:
- operating at input voltage 3x380 VAC at ambient temperatures from -25° to +40° C;
- operating fully automatically, equipped for reporting, control, and self-diagnosis, with communication and data transmission capabilities, galvanically isolated and secured;
- able to fully charge the bus batteries in no more than 6 hours when charging the battery from SOCw. to SOCm.;
- The participant should specify the power value of the charging station;
6 4 fast charging stations via pantograph:
- operating at input voltage 380 V at ambient temperatures from -25° to +40° C;
- partial battery charge of the bus should be possible via pantograph in no more than 30 minutes;
- minimum power: 150 kW.
