The procurement concerns glass scanners intended for diagnostic use for the pathology laboratory of PSHVA. (PSHVA inv. 20220383). The scanners will be placed in the staining room of the pathology laboratory and will be used by laboratory technicians trained in the use of the device. Images will be stored in the Sectran PACS archiving system in DICOM format and will be viewed using the Sectran IDS7 viewer.

Scanner capacity will be allocated according to the customer's sample volume. The forecast for the growth of the number of slides is about 8% per year. Currently, around 120,000 pieces of 25 x 75 mm slides are processed annually. About 2,000 larger 50 x 75 mm macro slides will be delivered.
