The City of Diest needs a new library and a larger accommodation for extracurricular childcare. Today, together with some other functions (including the academy for music and word and the city archive), is located in the Peter Dorland Centre on the Grauwzustersstraat. Both for the academy for music and word and for the city archive, we look forward to a resettlement to the citadel. For the city archives, however, this slope is less sure. The BKO, the Kliek and't Kliekse, moved to a former school infrastructure on Sint-Jacobsplein in October 2020. The House of the Child is in the same location
