The project concerns the interchange of a total of 14 switches in Korsør and Nyborg, while an existing switch in Korsør will be adjusted. The execution of the works is divided into the following three sections: Korsør East, Korsør West and Nyborg. At Korsør East and Korsør West, 6 switches will be exchanged on each section, while in Nyborg 2 switches will be exchanged.
The extent of the sections referred to in point II.1.4 above, relating to the crossing of the 14 switches and the alignment of a single switch, is as follows:
- Korsør East: Km. 107,589 – 107,991
- Korsør West: Km. 109,006 – 109,391
- Nyborg: Km. 130,144 – 130,270
The current switches at Korsør and Nyborg St. are to be exchanged for TSI switches (TSI-60E2-R500-1:14). All switches must be exchanged from wooden to concrete sleepers, while rails remain of type UIC60. During the exchange of all switches, all track boxes must also be replaced.
In addition to the work on the exchange of switches and the replacement of track boxes, the following works will also be carried out:
- Sporarbejder
- Earth and ball works
- Afvandingsarbejder
- Works in connection with cable diversion and routing
- Transitions (strails)
- Køreledningsarbejder
- Fuse and high-voltage works
- Works in relation to the environment and disposal of residues and waste
- Works in connection with obtaining government permits
- Administration and workplace
- Any alternative work, cf. section II.2.11) below
In addition to the above works, various works referred to as "modification services" may also be carried out. These include the following:
- Moving fix point
- Crab measurements of tracks
- TV inspection with push camera of drainage pipes, sewers, etc.
- Positioning and derigging of bilge pump
- Cold direction of switch tongue
- Establishment of cable pipe underpass in connection with new track box
- Removal of large objects, cable wells, etc., including excavation, pick-up, loading and transport as well as disposal of absorbed wells and materials, dredging, transport and disposal of excavated soil and rebuilding of soil
- Delivery, laying, bearing and removal of driving plates
- Delivery, installation and dismantling of click pipes on existing cables, incl. excavation work
- K0 soil removal
- Construction of raw soil planum
- Kabelsøgning
The execution of the modification services also includes man-hours and equipment.
Before commencing the exchange of switches, the successful tenderer may carry out preparatory works, which may include works such as cable clarification and test excavations. The dates of execution shall be set out in the specifications and the contract.
In addition, the winning tenderer must carry out any remaining work arising from the exchange of switches. These residual works may include laying cables, fine-grinding of the individual track, cleaning up of materials, etc. after exchange of the switch in question and other (minor) tasks. The dates of execution shall be set out in the specifications and the contract.

In the performance of the services covered by the contract, there will be concurrent, ongoing works and cross-border projects that may affect the conditions of the present contract, including coordination of the contracts. The simultaneous contracts are as follows:
- Track renewal project Slagelse – Korsør
- Sund & Bælts vedligeholdelsesarbejder
In connection with the project, the contracting entity will deliver part of the materials as client deliveries. The client deliveries are listed in Appendix 01.3.1. The Contracting Entity does not supply other materials as client deliveries other than the materials listed in Appendix 01.3.1. The value of the client deliveries amounts to approximately DKK 18,000,000.
As regards the client supplies, the successful tenderer is subject to the following obligations:
- Verification during the mobilization phase that all necessary parts to be able to complete the contract are present as client deliveries
- Acceptance control of client deliveries upon transfer thereof
- Storage of transferred client deliveries
- Return/disposal of remaining client deliveries
