The subject of the contract is laser treatment on the side windows of high-speed trains for DB Fernverkehr AG. These services are carried out in the client's vehicle maintenance centres. The aim of laser treatment is to significantly improve the permeability of the side windows for mobile communications. The laser systems necessary for the performance of the services are provided by the contractor himself.

Lot 1: On the one hand, the tendered laser treatments are expected to be provided in the period from 2024 to 2026 at the client's plant in Berlin-Rummelsburg by permanently present employees of the contractor. It is envisaged that a framework contract will be awarded in Lot 1.

Lot2: Furthermore, in the period from 2024 to 2027, laser treatments are to be provided by mobile teams at the client's plant in Dortmund and, if necessary, at other locations.

The contracting authority may award up to three framework contracts to the three best-placed bidders.

Lot 2 includes the awarding of three framework contracts for laser treatments by a location-flexible, mobile team. The respective place of performance will be announced by call at least two weeks before the respective start of the service.
